The Principal/ Vice-Principal, assisted by all the teachers of MONTBRETIA SCHOOL are responsible for
maintaining discipline in the school.
For the smooth functioning of the school, discipline is of utmost importance. Punctuality, habitual
neatness and personal cleanliness, uniformity of dress, politeness and courtesy, co-operation and
consideration for others with high spirit is inculcated among students. Each and every student is
encouraged to come up with innovative ideas and positive expression of creativity. Our aim is to
form self- disciplined children to build an even stronger nation in future.
We feel discipline is not just a few set of rules and regulations that are laid down and are bound
to be followed by all the students. We feel discipline is a way to freedom of expression and speech
which one has to learn slowly and wisely. We provide an atmosphere in our school in which students
learn discipline in a manner which they can adhere to judiciously, in their future life. Discipline
is construed by students and their expressions and actions are accepted if it is found appropriate
to their age and level of understanding. We tolerate the ‘mistakes’ and ‘mischiefs’ of the students
because we believe it is a part of learning and growing. But if such activities are repeated which
is found to demean the spirit and positive learning of others, then it is not tolerated and results
in expulsion of the students even if it causes pain to the uncooperative parents.
